Happy Day Moment Echoes: 5.13

It appears that lately it’s much easier for me to write a sentence or two on a regular basis, than it is for me to write a 500-word blog post. My bad. I have many bits and pieces of perhaps brilliant writing in my Evernote app, but they need whipped into shape before I fling them into the Internet.

So, instead, here are “echoes” of my Happy Day Moment Facebook Page and my tweets #happydaymoment for May and April.

HAPPY MANWhen stuff bumps into your happy, take a step back. Catch your balance, then hold onto love.

Point your energies towards love and courage and grace and forgiveness.

Do not be trapped by the false belief that what you have to offer doesn’t matter, isn’t enough, falls short. You matter.

Celebrate the accomplishment in every step.

Our gratitude, our appreciation, our respect – it pales in light of the sacrifices you have made.

Remember: crushed grapes can produce tasty wine. Joy can come from our sorrow.

Make living with gratitude a central part of your life.

Today, I choose happiness.

Do not fear, for He is with us. He will strengthen us, surely He will help us.

Be kind. And then be kind some more.

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

A generous person prospers; those who refresh others will be refreshed.

Get out. Spend time with real people in the real world. You’ll find real opportunity and real friendship.

Give. And it shall be given to you.

I believe in you. I will be there for you.

Find a quiet place. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Be thankful.

Even one kind word can change someone’s entire day.

Plant seeds of love, vision, and friendship.

Do not misplace the marvel of life. See your journey as enchanting and blessed.

When you’re grateful, you increase your happiness by 25%!

Overwhelming episodes of appreciation. Will bring you peace.

Stop. Breathe. Put your hand on your heart. Feel your heart beat. For one minute. Sixty seconds of gratitude.

Blessedness awaits. Today. Receive it.

Hope does not disappoint.

Be kind to each other. Compassionate. Forgiving. Because we have been forgiven.

You are loved. You matter. I am loved. I matter.

Notice. Others. Needs. Show grace. Have the courage to pursue incredible moments.

We’re all winners! Prizes for everyone!

God’s Sunrise will break in upon us, shining on those in the darkness.

Be kind. Give the world the best you have.

Never underestimate the power of prayer. Of faith. Of love. Especially, never underestimate the power of God.

Miracles are waiting everywhere.

A Sunday blessing: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope.”

Don’t be afraid to help someone. Kind words. Be mittens against the cold. Shade against the heat. Umbrella against the rain.

Embrace the moment. Lean into joy. Be kind, for it is a holy thing.

Today: encourage someone. Our words have impact. Our words matter.

You are a Poem. God’s workmanship, in Greek “poiema.” His right words. His right phrase. A work of art.

Appreciate this moment. This day. It is your gift.

My gift may be small. But it’s what I have.

Forgive often and love with all your heart.

Every day is a big day.
