In the City of David

In the City of David

A canopy of shimmers
(with one King strong)
Globed that night
When the angel spoke tidings
And the song of the flute
Came to the field,
When the knighthood of heaven
Praised with the Godsong of wonder
For the ushered child
Of the manger,
The Christ Child,
Whose man hand would thrust
The heart of humanity
Against the Source of love,
Whose death would fuse
The gap of sin,
Whose resurrection would shake
The world with victory.

About Me

Hi! I’m Jama, the writer of daily Happy Day Moments, author of Then Came A Miracle, and retired Director of Midwest Writers Workshop. I’m an unapologetic Happyologist with a desire to share the importance of “living with gratitude” … finding a “moment” each day to be grateful. I’m a lover of family and girlfriends and Jesus and words and chocolate and encouraging others in their faith and in their writing. Luke 1:37.
